The Wisconsin Badgers the last few weeks have riding their two top players and both have responded. Junior Frank Kaminsky (21 pts 7 rebs) and Sophomore Sam Dekker (15 pts 11 rebs) took care of things in the Paint as the Hawkeyes couldn't stop either one. Badgers SG Josh Gasser and Bronson Koenig added 12 points apiece including 6-10 from Three-Point Land. The Guard play for the Hawkeyes was outstanding as Roy Devyn Marble led the Hawks with 21 points and eleven dimes.

The Hawkeyes just didn't make enough plays down the stretch as the Badgers hit all their Free Throws late. The Hawkeyes also shot just 4 of 14 from the Arc and with the strength of the Hawkeyes being in the back court they have to shoot it better than that. or get out in transition to get easy buckets.

The Wisconsin Win puts the Badgers at 9-5 in the Big 10 and 22-5 overall. The Hawkeyes fall to 19-7 and 8-5 in the Big 10 as both teams will be factors in the Big 10 Tourney and in March Madness. The Badgers are in sole possession of 3rd place with the Hawkeyes in 4th place.
