The Spurs had no Point God TP9 of Peak USA Shoes due to an assortment of Ailments and the Spurs keep rolling and that is bad news for West and the L.A. Clippers moving towards Winning Time.

The Spurs playing Spurs-Like on the Hardwood took a 60-54 lead into the break only to ply the Clips late in the 3rd to a 74-74 tie. The Spurs eventually stretched that out to a 82-76 lead at the end of three frames. The story was the Spurs PG Patty Mills as he led Team S.A.S. with 25 points dishing out five assists and grabbing five boards. His impact on the game wasn't just in the score book as he controlled the "Pace" of the game playing Spurs Basketball. Belinelli added 20 points with Dunc going 19 points, thirteen boards, and seven helpers. Mills, Belinelli, and Danny Green combined to shoot 8 for 15 from the Arc and that was huge. Spurs committing 17 turnovers was a little high but an efficient 50% from the field and nearly 50% from the Arc took care of those woes.

The Clips get a game-high 35 points and twelve boards from Blake Griffin while Jamal Crawford added 25 points. Clips Center DeAndre Jordan grabbed 18 rebounds and chipped in with seven points. The Spurs just played their game an forced the Clips to play the Spurs Game. CP3 had 11 points and nine assists but his shooting and timing is a little off due to his long lay-off. For the Clips this was a game you would have liked to have for a later date.

Spurs move to 5-2 on the nine game Rodeo Trip (39-15 overall) with the Rip City Blazers and Phoenix Suns up next. The Clippers fall to 37-19 and that one will, sting a little as they could have made up more ground on the Spurs, Rockets, and Thunder teams Lob City is chasing.
