The Michigan Wolverines came in tied with the Michigan State Spartans for the lead in the Big 10 on Sunday. The Wisconsin Badgers came in trying to get back into the Big 10 Race and doing so get another huge "W" for a potential high Seed in March Madness.

It was all Badgers as they came out firing on all cylinders and a 34-19 lead at the break turns into a 75-62 win for the Badgers putting themselves right back into the thick of the Big Ten. Badgers 7-Foot Junior and former Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) Star Frank Kaminsky led UW Madison with 25 points as he also grabbed eleven Oranges. He was joined by Sophomore WF Sam Dekker (15 pts 9 rebs) and Junior SG Josh Gasser (13 pts) as they shoot 44% from the line.

The Wolverines never were really were in it as they get 25 points and six boards from Sophomore Caris Lavert. The Maize and Blue's Big Guns Glenn Robinson III (10 pts) and Nic Stauskas (11 pts) combined to shoot 9-20 from the field and 0-3 from the Arc. They just didn't get enough shots up and the Wolverines could not get out in Transition and that was due to the Badgers controlling the all important "Pace" as in "Bo Ryan Pace".

The Wolverines with the loss moves to 10-3 in the Big Ten and 18-7 overall. The Badgers 8-5 in Big 10 Play and 21-5 overall. UM is now a 1/2 game back of the Spartans who were idle and sit at 10-2 in Big 10 play.
