The UK 'Cats go into the Land Shark and go straight Nerf Rim on the Ole Miss Rebels and hold on for a 84-70 "W" to make up for Saturday's Loss to "Billy Ball" and the Gator Chop at Rupp. Kentucky shoots 52% from the field an amazingly enough some 90% from the stripe.
UK was led by Freshmen Star Julius Randle as he goes for Double-Double #14 in SEC Play with 25 points as he grabbed thirteen Oranges. Randle was just 6 of 7 from the field as he was 13 of 14 from the stripe. The Harrison Twins finally adjusting to life at the Major Division-1 Level combined for 27 points, eight helpers, and seven boards. James Young added 16 while grabbing a half a dozen Oranges, and waited on five UK Tables. The Freshmen played well until late and in March Madness or even the SEC Tourney they need to clean that up. Coach Cal you need to clean all that Animation Up or the Bluedude is going to put you on the Incredibles 2...Lol!
Ole Miss #1 Stunner Marshall "Land Shark" Henderson didn't adjust until late in the 2nd half as he had 18 points hitting on just 5 of 14 from the Arc. Ole Miss Guard Jarvis Summers led Ole Miss with 22 points while Forward Anthony Perez added 21. The Rebs dug themselves too big of a hole and allowed too much Nerf Rim going on for the #BBN.
Kentucky Blue moves to 10-3 in the SEC and 20-6 overall while Ole Miss falls to 7-6 in the SEC and 14-10 overall as both have plenty of work to do.
