The Kansas State Wildcats needed to get back into the The Big 12 Race but more importantly needed to win for their March Madness Resume. They get the rival Jayhawks in Manhattan and survive an American Pie-like Superbad-esque last two minutes of Regulation only to beat the Jayhawks in Extras 85-82.

The 'Cats get it done behind sharp-shooting from he "Land of Plenty" by Guards Will Spradling and Marcus Foster. They combined to hit 7 of 10 Money Balls and K.U. shot just 3 of 17 from the Arc. If there is an Achilles Heel with Kansas it's their inability to shoot the Money ball consistently and that has to have K.U. Lead Man William Self worried a tad bit. Foster meanwhile had a game-high 20 points with Spradling adding 15 as the only 'Cats in double figures.

The Jayhawks get 19 points and eleven boards from former Wichita KS Wichita Heights HS Star Perry Ellis a sophomore. Freshman Andrew Wiggins added 16 points and five boards but shot 4 of 12 from the field and 8 of 15 from the line. The Jayhawks just didn't get "Stops" when they needed to and K-State just wanted it more. Kansas Big Joel Embiid grabs six boards to go with 6 points.

The 'Cats move to 17-7 but 7-4 in the Big 12. The Jayhawks fall to 18-6 and 9-2 in the Big 12. K-State is now tied with Oklahoma for 3rd while Texas is 2nd at 7-3 with plenty of Big 12 Business in front of everyone.

360 Degrees...the best Team in Kansas might be the Wheat Shockers of Wichita State coming in at 25-0 and 12-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference...
