The Atlanta Braves are not looking to be any ones Farm System and play in an above Middle Market and having said that they are spending quality time at the bank. After extending Homegrowns like First Baseman Freddie Freeman and OF Jason Heyward the Braves are still extending their young core

Reported through numerous media outlets the Braves give RHP Julio Teheran a six-year $32.5 million deal which has 7th season to be worth to move the overall deal to $44.4 million. Surprisingly enough Teheran spent his first full season in the Show in 2013 and didn't disappoint. A 3.20 ERA with 30 starts going 14-8 as he struck out 170 and walked 45 after allowing 173 hits in 185 2/3 Innings.

Teheran is right in the middle a #3 in the Braves Rotation led by RHP Kris Medlen and LHP Mike Minor. Behind Teheran in the #4 slot is RHP Brandon Beachy and in the #5 slot battling it out LHP Alex Wood and RHP David Hale. Nothing like quality Starting Arms and along with Teheran those first two are heading to be future "Monsters on the Bump".

The one thing left on the Braces Bucket List for 2014 and beyond is get a Deal done for Captain Save-A-Game RHP Craig Kimbrel who only saves 50 in 54 chances....striking out 98 and handing out a 20 Hopper Passes to first.
