The Ohio State Buckeyes knew in order to save their Big 10 regulars Season it had to start with a "W" over the visiting Wolverines tonight. The Wolverines needed a "W" to stay on top in the Big 10 and a half a game ahead of Sparty as they had just as much to lose as the Buckeyes.

After a 30-26 Buckeye lead at the break the Trio of Glenn Robinson III, Derrick Walton Jr. and Zak Irvin the Wolverines took a 44-43 lead at the midway pint of the 2nd half and never looked back. The lack of Offensive Firepower has hurt the Buckeyes all season long and came back to haunt them tonight yet again. The Wolverines went on a 44-30 2nd half binge that gave them a decisive 70-60 "W" and puts them in 1st place for now in the Big 10.

UM's Nik Stauskas 15 points, Derrick Walton Jr's 13, and Zak Irvin's 11 paced the Wolverines as they shot 18 of 22 from the Stripe and that for sure put them in the Winer's Circle. The Buckeyes were led by SF LaQuinton Ross' 24 points and seven boards as O-H-I-O has yet to replace SF Deshaun Thomas (Spurs 58th Pick in 2013) from last season. Buckeyes Senior Guard Lenzelle Smith was the only other Buckeye in double figures with 13.

Wolverines move to 18-6 and 10-2 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes fall to 6-6 in the Big Ten and 19-6 overall...
