The Dodgers finish taking three of four from the San Diego Padres as Hyun-Jin Ryu combines with the Dodger Pen to blank the 'Dres 1-0. Ryu goes six allowing just two hits and striking out ten Friars. San Diego Starter Tyson Ross pitched extremely well and well enough to win I might add but takes the tough loss.

Ross went a strong seven allowing six hits and a run striking out nine walking just one. A Yasiel Puig singles scoring Carl Crawford was the only run of the game and the only mistake Ross made on the day. Dodgers Captain Save-A-Game Kenley Jansen had Ducks creeping at the corners but struck out both Jake Goebbert and Seth Smith to end the game. The win has the "Boys in Blue" at 53-43 leading the Gigantes (51-43) by a game in the NL West. Dodgers Puig and Juan Uribe the only two players with multi-hits in the game.
