The Minnesota Timberwolves jump out to a big lead only to find themselves in a "Street Fight" down the stretch. The Nugs dug themselves a huge hole and this has been their Theme in the 2013-14 season playing from behind and could not hit the Winner's Circle despite clawing back in it late.

The 'Wolves led 66-49 at the break only to have that lead shrink to 130-128 in the waning moments as they try to Gift Wrap a "W" for the Nugs. Yes Minnesota gets the "W" but that "Service Engine Soon" Light is bright "Red" on Defense and Execution moving forward. The 'Wolves get a game-high 33 points and nineteen boards from K.L. as he hit just two from Deep. K-Mart of target added 22 points with "Brew Crew", Pekovic, and Barea chipping in with 16 points apiece. The 'Wolves won the game from the Stripe as they shot 52 of 64 free throws as the Nugs committed some 37 fouls....and at what point does Denver need a Two-our Practice doing Defensive Slide Drills?

The Nugs get four players in double figures with Point God Ty Lawson with a team-high 31 points as he also waited on eleven Nugs tables. Nugs SF Wilson Chandler went for 25 points and ten boards with Foye Boy added 22 points and the "MAN-imal" Nugs PF Kenneth Faried 21 and eight boards. They spent too much getting back into the game late and didn't run out of Petro...but ran out of time! Nugs with the 'Wolves shooting all those Free Throws they were + 36 in makes and that is some kind of NBA Stat putting things in perspective for the Nugs ...and 'Wolves for the fact of the matter.

The 'Wolves move to 30-29 over the .500 mark as they try and make a last ditch effort in the West to getting at that vaunted #8 seed. The Nugs free falling to 25-34 have to be thinking we finish out strong and then get'em in the 2014-15 season.
