The Lakers reached back versus the "Only Game in Town" tonight and ran almost from start to finish and beating the Blazers on a Dunk with less than seven seconds remaining. The Blazers trailing most of night try to steal one at the end as All-Star Point god D.L. of Crazyquick Three Stripes potential Game-Winner missed. Lakers win 107-106 and despite not going to Winning Time that "W" was for those who are tanking for the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery as the Lakers get a little bit lighter in the Lottery Machine.

Despite blowing their 4th quarter lead late the Purple and Gold Lake Show has something to smile about as they go into Portland, Oregon and hand the Blazers only their 19th loss of the 2013-14 NBA Season. Pau Gasol led with 22 points and nine boards as Jodie Meeks added 21 and Wes Johnson and Kent Bazemore chipped in with 14 points apiece. Back to Bazemore and Johnson as they hooked up for an Alley-Oop Dunk to seal the "W". Lakers played start to finish like Lead Man MDA would have hoped for the majority of the season.

The Blazers disappointed as they need to win all of them after a Home-Cooked Meal as we have hit March NBA Hoops. To Rip City's Credit they stayed close enough to take he lead late but didn't get that crucial "Stop" they need as the Laker just executed great play out of bounds. Twenty Turnovers by Portland put them in harm's way and they take an "L" as they must take care of the Orange. L-Train Blazers All-Star PF LaMarcus Aldridge was back off injury to lead Rip City with 21 points. Lillard added 20 points and five assist with Center Robin Lopez (up for my 2013-14 NBA's Most Improved Player Award) chipped in with 19 points and sixteen boards.

The Lakers move to 21-39 and with this loss the Blazers fall to 41-19 as they are up a game in the Loss Column on the Clips for the #3 seed in the West.
