The game came down to the Cards not making the necessary plays at the end to win the ball game or shall i say...put the game away. Give UK credit as they kept their composure and stayed the course and they win the game and advance to the Elite 8.

Kentucky down 64-57 at the five minute mark closed the game on a 17-5 run which included a couple of "And Ones" and a Dagger Money Ball from one of the Harrison Twins that put them ahead to stay. Louisville Star Senior Guard Russ Smith was RUSS-diculous as the 'Cats had no answer for him. Russ goes out with 23 points not leaving anything left as his potential game-tying Money Ball was for not shooting it over UK's Julius Randle. Luke Hancock the Card other Top Senior added 19 points as he was saddled with foul trouble early but came on late to be a factor down the stretch for the 'Cards. U of L Super Soph Montrezl Harrell had 15 points and grabbed eight boards playing semi-aggressive in and out of foul trouble all night long.

It was just too much of the 'Cats Bench in Freshman Dakari Johnson (Montverde Prep Academy Florida and HS Teammate PG Kasey Hill of the Florida Gators)) and Sophomore Alex Proythress who did the damage to the 'Ville. Johnson had a career-high 15 points and six rebounds with Proythress adding six huge points. Julius Randle goes double-double with 15 points and a dozen Oranges as James Young added 9 as he was too saddled with foul trouble all night long. The Harrison Twins combined for 29 points, eight boards, and seven assists while only turning the Orange over three times. They came in turning it over nine times per and that was also big for UK.

Kentucky now faces the Michigan Wolverines in the Midwest Region Final on Sunday...

360 Degrees...Louisville finishes 31-6 with two of the six L's at the hands of their much-hated Rival the UK 'Cats...just sayin'!
