EAST Region Sweet 16 from World's Most Famous....

#7 UConn vs #3 Iowa State 7:27pm ET

The Huskies have been doing behind every body's All-American in PG Shabazz Napier with his underrated Sidekick Ryan Boatright. The Cyclones play "Mayor Ball" and they are talented when it comes to Guard Play as Melvin Egim and DeAndre Kane are the leaders. Who can play bigger in the Paint will determine who wins as well as which Guard out play the other guards.  UNC tried to play "Big" on the Cyclones and it worked in stretches. The Huskies need someone else besides Napier to step up and that might be former 2011 Illinois Mr. Basketball Boatright. Kane took apart UNC with 24 points and ten boards as he also had seven Turnovers.

Winner: Iowa State

#4 Michigan State vs #1 Virginia 9:57pm ET

The Spartans are primed for another Trip to the Final 4 and they are everyones Glamour Pick as some Heavies have fallen. All-American Sniper Gary Harris is a real Treat at the Arc, driving to the Rack, and in Transition taking the Elevator along with Brandon Dawson. Can PG Keith Appling get back to what Appling does with that Wrist Issue? Sparty Big "House of Payne" in Adreiane Payne has been Lottery Pick-Esque in the Tourney and will, that continues. The Wahoos come in the no-name bunch unless you reside in ACC Land. They are the other aide of the Wisconsin Badgers in coached extremely well and they do what they do. Malcolm Brogdon, London Perrantes, and Joe Harris lead that vaunted Cavs Three-Guard Attack and it has been straight "Butta" not Parkay in the 2013-14 season. Can they keep Green off the Glass and slow Sparty down? This game will be dictated by the all important "Pace" and nothing else as the Cavs like it in the 50s to 60s and Sparty just likes to play no matter what Pace it is.

Winner: Virginia
