The UCLA Bruins had "All Bruins on Deck" for their Match Up with the #12 seed Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. Bruins had to play their best game to beat the now 32-2 Lumberjacks (18-0 Southland) and they did just that.

Leading just 42-32 at the half the Lumberjacks got as close as nine before the Bruins hit the 405 and dropped Westwood Hoops Lore into 5th gear. They get 19 points and six boards from Jordan Adams and 167 points from Russell Westbrook-like Guard Norman Powell. 6-7 PG Kyle Anderson from St. Anthony NJ HS Fame added 15 points, eight rebounds, and five helpers as his all-around game is ridiculous playing in Super Slo-Mo. Bruins shot nearly 55% from the field as they only shot 29% from the Arc and moving forward that should not be the problem if they keep sharing and caring about the Orange. UCLA amassed some 22 assists on made baskets and that is getting it done and making the opposition worry about not just one player...but everyone on the Hardwood.

The Lumberjacks had a fabulous season as they were one of three Teams in Major College Basketball to go Conference Play Undefeated. They get a game-high 22 points and eleven boards from guard Thomas Walkup and 17 points from Desmond Haymon. Forward Nikola Gajic added 10 points and six boards as Stephen F. Austin shot below 36% from the field and just under 26% from the Arc. Against a Team like UCLA they know they had to make shots and didn't and that had a lot to do with the Bruins and their "D".

UCLA moves onto the Sweet 16 and they will play the #1 Florida Gators in the South Region in the Grind House in Memphis.
