The Opening Day 2K14 Mid-Afternoon Slate features Divisional Games...

Mid-Afternoon Slate for OPENING DAY 2K14 on March 31st, 2014

4:10pm ET
Twins (Nolasco) vs White Sox (Sale)

Twins come in the 2014 Season knowing it cannot end up like the 2013 Season. They get Ricky Nolasco from the Dodgers where he as on Rent for the 2013 Post Season. In that Line Up they still have Joe Mauer and that's a start. The Sox have hopes of being contenders in the AL Central and it will have to start with Left Hand All-Star Ace Chris Sale with some Offensive Help hopefully from Jose Abreu.

4:10pm ET
Redbirds (Wainright) vs Red Legs (Cueto)

The NL Central Rivals renew their acquaintances right off the bat in 2014. The Cards are absolutely loaded on the Bump, in the Pen, and at the Dish with no glaring weaknesses nowhere. They lose Carlos Beltran but that Cup runneth' over in Baseball Town USA. The Reds need Jhonny Cueto to stay healthy and that was a crushing blow losing the "Cuban Missile" in Aroldis Chapman for the first few months of the Season. They still have  potent line up as they battle both the Redbirds and Buccos for NL Central Supremacy.

4:10pm ET
Blue Birds (Dickey) vs Rays (Price)

Can this be the season the Blue Jays make their run as Jose Bautista, Edwin Encarnacion, and Jose Reyes must stay healthy and play at l;east 140 plus games in the 162 game trek. The Rays still have Price and Evan Longoria anchoring a Team that made the Post Season again capping off three straight 92 plus win seasons. The AL East like the NL Central is Top-Heavy as teams need to start fast in April to have any shot.
