Former Hawks Net Minder Ray Emery was on his game as was Hawks Net minder Antti Raanta as the Frozen One only lit the lamp five times. Hawks needing two pints at all costs as the Hawks wind down to Winning Time grabs one points in disgust.

The Philadelphia Flyers still one as they get a "wrister" from Captain Claude Giroux with just 4.2 seconds left in Extras to beat the Hawks 3-2. Fittingly enough it looked like it was going to be a 10-9 final as both Teams came out the gate firing. Hawks scored the first two in the 1at frame behind Andrew Shaw and Duncan Keith to make it 2-0 Hawks. The Phly Guys came right back to tie it in the first frame scoring goals behind Scott Hartnell who was a thorn in the backside as the Hawks won the Cup in 2010.

Both traded blows from then on out with the Flyers out shooting the Hawks 37-25. More importantly Chicago now with the "L" in Extras and one point faces the Central leading Blue Notes at the Madhouse on Hump Day and they need to get after it at all costs. Raanta stopped 34 of 37 as the last one Hawks Nation will remember as will the Hawks W-L Record. Emery stopped 23 of 25 as he lad little action as the Hawks getting a little too cute at times didn't even put the Frozen One on net when they had the chances.

Hawks fall to 39-15-15 as they gain a point and that is better than an 0-fer. Phly Guys move to 36-25-7 and 79 points which is good for #2 in the Metropolitan Division 15 points behind the division leading Pens and a point in front of the Blue Shirts.
