The Louisville Cardinals just continue to play their game reminding me a lot of the Florida Gators as they are going to force you to play their style somehow someway. Then St. Louis Billikens to their credit didn't get discouraged down nine at the half 25-16 as they came out like that A-10 Top Tier Team they are...they just didn't have enough Horses fittingly enough dealing with the Kentucky Thoroughbreds in Red.

Led by "Cool-Hand" Luke Hancock's 21 points including 4 for 12 from Deep...the Cards leading at the break 25-16 had a little bit of trouble in the 2nd half as the Billikens turned the heat up. Trailing 35-33 at the 11:42 mark in the 2nd half  St. Louis would get no closer as the Cards stretched that lead out ti as big as 13 by the score of 52-39 with just over 4 minutes to go.

Joining Hancock in double figures for the Cards was PF Montrezl Harrell going double double with 10 points and eleven boards. Russ-diculous and Chris Jones each add 11 points with Russ waiting on seven Cards Tables. Cards shoot 6 for 15 from the Arc and the Billikens go 0 for 15 and that kept them from getting a lead or any kind of real "MO".

St. Louis was led by Seniors Dwayne Evans (Naperville, Illinois Nequa Valley HS) as he goes 16 points and hauls in ten Oranges. Billikens Star Guard Jordair Jett added 5 points and seven helpers as both Teams could not take care of the Orange wit a combined 37 turnovers.

Louisville marches on to the Sweet 16 as they will face the winner of Wichita State/Kentucky in the Midwest Region in Naptown...Imagine That Match Up NCAA Committee....if UK beats the Shockers!
