The Kentucky Wildcats Freshman saves their best game as their last game played as they beat the then 35-0 Wheat Shockers of Wichita State in St. Louis, Missouri. The Shock's #1 "Gun for NBA Hire" Cleanthony Early was stuntin' like he was UK's Daddy as his hit Kentucky Blue with his entire Tool Box. In the end UK made a play or two more down the stretch to upset the #1 Seed Overall and those Brackets will be shredded on Monday Morning!

Kentucky and Wichita State played nip and tuck the entire was as UK's biggest lead was four late and the Shockers was nine back in the 1st half. The Harrison Twins combined for 39 points on 12 for 22 shooting and 5 for 10 from the Arc. But it was Freshman James Young (13 pts 8 rebs) and Julius Randle (13 pts 10 rebs 6 asst) that made big play after big play to seal the "W". The 'Cats struggled all season long from Deep but was 8 for 18 and that's what put them in the Winner's Circle as you knew Ron Baker and Early were going to shoot a nice clip from deep.

The Shock bows out after going 35-1 and Mr. Early's 31-Piece Family Pack with all the fixins'. He also finished seven rebounds as he shot a blistering 12 for 17 from the field and 4 for 6 from the Arc. Baker not to be outdone like Early as if we are going top go down...we leave nothing in the Arsenal had 20 points including 4 for 6 with the Money Ball Rack. The Shock just didn't get anything from Sophomore Fred Van Fleet and in the end that hurt them as he had just 4 points on 1 for 6 from the field and 0-4 from the Arc including missing the potential game-winning Money Ball as time expired.

UK moves onto to the Sweet 16 to face none other than rival Louisville in Nap Town and how 'nout them Bracket Busters  and shame on you NCAA for putting both of them in the same bracket...that some Hog Wash right there.
