It's not pretty by any stretch but the results are awe-inspiring as Billy Donovan and his Gators run trough the South Region like they did the SEC and head back to North Dallas for the 2014 Final Four. The Gators try to avenge that Elite 8 loss to the Wolverines back in 2013 in Jerry's House the Scene of the 2014 Final Four.

The Gators just forced their "Pace" on the Flyers who came in averaging 72 ppg and they only get 52.  2013-14 SEC P.O.Y. Scott Wilbekin continues his smooth assault on the opposition be getting a game-high 23 points (8-10 FT) while controlling both ends for UF. UK Senior Patric Young (2010 Mc Donald's All-American) added 12 points and grabbed six rebounds with Michael Frazier II adding 10 points as the only Gators in double figures. Gators shoot 28 free throws to the Flyers eight free throws and that was the difference in the game.

Dayton bows out after a great effort with Forward DyShawn Pierre leading with 18 points and five boards. Dean Oliver added 12 points and six boards as they were the only two Flyers in double figures. Dayton settled for too many "J's" and they also missed way too many bunnies at the rim. Playing the gators you must capitalize on every opportunity you encounter or you will for sure hit the "L" Column just like the Flyers did.

Florida now awaits the East Regional Winner between the Huskies of UConn and the Spartans of Michigan State.
