The Dallas Cowboys let DT Jason Hatcher walk to the rival 'Skins and didn't ant to take on a $16 million Salary Cap Hit from the DeMarcus Ware. OLB Anthony Spencer also has walked as that Cowboys "D" that was atrocious in 2013 had to make a big splash but a darn good one at that that made monetary sense.

Insert Bears Free Agent Pro-Bowl DT Henry Melton as he toe up his Knee in NFL Week vs the Steelers and the Cowboys gets 27-year old DT that hopefully has his best work ahead of him. Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones has scrambled to get under the Cap and in turn has let go of some Key Cogs in the Cowboys grand scheme of things the past few years to get younger and creates some Salary Cap Flexibility.

Melton looks to get $29 million over four years with $14 million guaranteed. Melton also is familiar with current Cowboys Defensive Coach Rod Marinelli who as his Coordinator with the Bears.

2014 Cowboys D-Line Depth Chart Pre-2014 NFL Draft

#1s   #2s
LDE George Selvie  Tyrone Crawford
LDT Henry Melton  Frank Kearse
RDT Nick Hayden  Ben Bass
RDE Jeremy Mincey  Kyle Wilber

The Cowboys are banking on big things from Melton, Selvie, Hayden, and Mincey as it all starts up front. If they can be as good as some think they can Backers Sean Lee and Bruce Carter should have outstanding years good health permitting.

Cowboys must go D-Line or Safety in the 2014 NFL Draft 1st Round...
