The Cleveland Cavaliers shoot by the visiting Forever Purple dba Sacramento Kings as the Cavs 55-43 leads held up through the 2nd half. Cavs shooting from the Arc was paramount in the "W".
Behind 22 points from SF Luol Deng and 19 points and ten boards from #1 Overall NBA Pick Anthony Bennett from UNLV the Cavs rolled. Cavs Combo Guard Dion Waiters chipped in with 20 points and eight helpers as he combined with Bennett to give the Cavs much-needed get up from the Pen. Shooting 12 of 21 from the Arc also paid big dividends for the Cavs as both Teams shot poorly from the stripe.
Team Cow Bells was led by DeMarcus Cousins 21 points and ten boards as PG Isaiah Thomas (16 pts 9 asst) and Rudy Gay (14 pts 8 rebs) also contributed for the Kings. Not shooting a real good percentage from the field and stripe coupled with a - 9 on the glass put the Kings in the "L" Column. The Kings inability also to force any kind of "Pace" on the Cavs was also null and void for the night as the Cavs controlled everything from the onset.
Believeland moves to 19-33 while the Kings fall to 17-35. The Cavs some 14 games under .500 is just 4.5 games behind the bobCATS for the 8th and final seed in the East.
360 Degrees...will former Bulls All-Star SF Luol Deng walk in the Summer as the Cavs try to sign him long-term?
