It this was a prized-fight the Phightin' Phils would have thrown in the Towel at least their Corner Man would have and in this case that would have been Interim Skip and HOF Ryne Sandberg. The Dodgers roll behind their prized-lefty Clayton Kershaw from Highland Park, Texas High School.

The Dodgers beat the Phils 5-0 as they score one in the 1st and the 5th. Then in the 9th with the game in the bag Dodgers Hot Corner Juan Uribe goes 3-run bomb for good measure an everyone drive home safely. Kershaw went eight innings yielding no Ducks crossing the dish three hits on eight strike outs and one free pass. He dominated and its the deceptive delivery along with a mid-90s Express to go along with that 12 to 6 Local and the mixing of Speeds on the Slide Piece. If he wins out and and adds at least 5-6 more wins with that ERA he should grab his 2nd NL Cy Young  Award.

The Phightin' Phils don't have much Phighting left and with Skip and their former leader Charlie Manuel now gone they have to be thinking where does 2013 end. Dodgers lead the NL West still by 8.5 games and they look like a team that might clear 100 wins...and that would be a 28-12 finish and they could do it.
