The Rays were on the cusp of putting the Orioles in a bad situation but if it was up to O's All-Stars "Adam Bombs" Jones and "Crush" Davis the O's would be 162-0 as the O's win 4-2. The Rays sent Jeremy Hellickson to the hill and he couldn't get it done tonight versus the O's. Hellickson was chased after 4 1/3 and giving up four runs on seven hits and three free passes along with three strike outs. Hellickson's two bombs he gave up were the two guys he needed to stay away from in that lineup.  Maybe instead of playing with sun flower seeds an photo bombing teammates he should have reading the Pitching Chart instead of just writing down things the night before.

The two bombs were #45 for O's first baseman "Crush" Davis and #26 for O's CF "Adam Bombs" Jones as they were the difference in the outcome as the O's put two up in the first frame before HR Derby.  Taiwanese and O's LHP Wei-Yin Chen was dynamite as he went seven allowing two runs on six hits walked three and struck out two. He also gave up two bombs but none to the usual suspects like Evan Longoria or Wil Myers.

The O's now stay a game ahead of the Yankees in the AL Wild Card as both have work to do trailing the Oakland Athletics as they sit in the #2 Wild Card Slot. The Rays leave town a game back of the Carmines as they beat the Gigantes earlier today 12-1 in McCovey Cove.
