All the happenings were from the Bump in this one as the Red Sox LHP Felix Doubront handled his business and Gigantes LHP Barry Zito was not sharp at all. The Red Sox end up winning the Rubber Game 12-1 as it was almost a crime scene but 12-1 is a nice wholesome Hump Day Smack down.

Doubront had the Carmines on cruise control as he went eight strong allowing just one run on five hits as he walked one and struck out three. The only run off Doubront came in the 2nd frame as Giants Hot Corner Joaquin Arias hit a Solo Shot. Other than that hit the Giants could only muster four more hits.

Zito had his issues and that 12 to 6 Local was a 12 to 2 Lunch Special as the Carmines were all over it. The Gigantes Left-Hander went 3 2/3 Innings allowing six runs on seven hits as Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks got the Party started off Zito with a Two-Run HR in the 2nd frame. The Carmines "Smurf" Package of Ellsbury (3/4 w/ 2 runs), Pedroia (2/4 w/ 2 runs and an RBI), and Victorino (3/5 with an RBI and a run) dominated Giants Pitching and Zito.

With the win the Carmines stay up 1/2 game on the Rays who go for the sweep tonight in Camden Yards versus the Orioles.
