Can the New York Yankees come from the "Show Dead" some double digits back in the AL East and a week a day from getting one of those AL Wild Cards? They took two from the Toronto Blue Jays as the Blue Birds have to wrestle with all those lofty expectations from Spring to the now to the off season.

Game 1

The Yanks get Two 3-Run Bombs and one off the Ash Bat of one Robinson Cano (who could be playing his last season as a Yankee...Lol). Yanks RHP Ivan Nova went 6 1/3 innings giving up four runs on nine hits and left the game in the hands of the Yankees Pen. The Pen goes 2 2/3 innings allowing no hits or runs as they 'Jays put four runs on Nova. The 'Jays Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bats couldn't get anything going as the Yanks take Round 1 of the Twin Bill 6-4.

Game 2

Both Starters went pitch for pitch as 'Jays LHP Mark Buerhle went 6 2/3 innings allowing just two runs on six hits while walking one and striking out five. Yanks Starter Phil Hughes kept the Bombers in the game going six innings allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out six and walking two. Buerhle left the game with a chance to win as that 'Jays Pen couldn't do the trick. The Yanks Jayson Nix gets a walk-off single of Darren Oliver as Yanks sweep 'Jays in Double-Dip.

As we go to press the Bombers are 5 1/2 games out in the AL Wild Card. They are seven back in the in the AL East and they are right there a good week from getting back into the AL East and Wild Card Fray. Them D*mn Yankees!
