The Washington Mystics came out with a purpose as they put the Sky in a hole but in the end we have Elena Delle Donne and Sylvia Fowles and you don't. The Sky dodg
e a big one as they turn a 28-17 1st frame deficit into a 79-73 "W" as the East best team in the Sky keeps rolling towards their 1st ever WNBA Finals Appearance.

It was Delle Donne and Fowles leading the way as the Sky back into the game in the 2nd frame cutting that elven point deficit to four at the break. The Sky then game plan their way back in the 3rd frame taking a lead they would never again relinquish 55-53. Fowles controlled the glass and Delle Donne controlled the points as the Sky beat the Mystics 79-73 with a 24-20 4th and final frame.

Delle Donne led all scorers with 24 points and she added eight rebounds. Fowles chips in with a 16 point and fifteen rebound game as PG Courtney Vanderslooot adds 19 points and seven helpers. The Key for the Sky is lead guard play and it has been really good as we near winning time. The Mystics were led by Kia Vaughn's 21 points and six rebounds. The Sky lead the East by 2 1/2 over the Dream and 6 1/2 over the 3rd place Mystics.

Next up for the Sky is Friday August 23 in Chi City versus the NYC Liberty.
