The Buffalo Bills need to do everything in their power to keep arguably a Top 3 Safety on Sunday in former "Quack Attack" Eugene Back Stop Jairus Byrd. It's been a messy situation in the Bison City and Orchard Park, NY Tackle Football dealing with Byrd and that is putting it mildly. One Question though is what does a Bloodline Safety (Father Gill Byrd was a Safety and drafted in 1983 by the Air Coryell Bolts and a good one) have to do to get "Paid in Full" as there is Duffel Bags waiting for Top-Flight Safeties.

Byrd in 2012 was arguably the best Safety in the game when you compare his numbers. Whose out there better than Byrd maybe the "Legion of Doom" Safety Earl "Hookem' Horns" Thomas or Eric Weddle or even Reshad Jones the New Safeties taking over for the Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu's of the Sunday Tackle Football World. The Bills have not met any Contract Demands and they do not have to but this is a 5-Star Back Stop so what do they do. They over paid "Super Mario" Williams playing like "Regular Mario" in Orchard Park.

Byrd is dynamic as he covers three key areas for Sunday Safeties in he can cover, and great run support safety, and he is a ball hawk with that great closing speed a la like Ed Reed. Don't forget all that too is those Bloodlines from Dad Gill Byrd.

Byrd signed his one-year tender for $6.9 million Tuesday Night. The Bills are still open to trading the Safety but one would think it would cost a potential suitor at least a 1st round Pick and then some.
