I didn't see this coming as the "Habs" have the #1 blue-paint Tenant left in the 2015 "Fight for Lord Stanley" in Carey Price and to the Tampa Bay Lightning none of that matters.

After Jeff Petry gave the Canadiens a 1-0 lead in the first almost midway through the first the "Habs" and the Bell Centre Faithful had to like their odds of winning game 2. Then that ominous sky hovered over the Canadiens and Bell Centre near the end of the 1st as the Lightning Strikes with just 24 seconds remaining in the 1st period.

It was Valtteri Filppula scoring for Tampa and tying the game up at 1-1. That goal set the tempo for the remainder of the game for the Bolts and Canadiens as Tampa would hit Price with five more goals including three in the 2nd.

Steven Stamkos started the run in the 2nd giving Tampa a 2-1 lead. Then they capitalized on two power plays beating the "Habs" and Price for a 4-1 score and that was the score at the end of two. Tampa would go onto add two more with then"Habs" getting goal #2 from Alexei Emelin as the final was 6-2 "Bolts"!

Price faced just 24 SOG and stopped just 18 in his worst outing of the 2014-15 season as he didn't let six get by him all season long. The "Bolts" Blaine Bishop stopped 27 of 29 SOG and he has been stellar in net.

Now we head back to sunny Tampa with "Bolts" Nation and the Bay rocking. The "Habs" need to find themselves before they get on that charter heading south or it will be a four-game sweep.

Note: Tampa was a "lightning" 4 for 8 on the power play and that is getting it done big-time with Lord Stanley watching!
