The Los Angeles Clippers needed a monumental effort if they were going to closeout the home team on this night the Houston Rockets. That effort was going to overcome that game 5 effort by the 2014-15 NBA M.V.P. Runner-Up in James Harden the Nike Basketball's Beard Project.

Harden messed around and goes 26 points and eleven assists with ten boards getting his inner Blake Griffin on and that is no pot-shot towards Harden ad B.G. 32 has been filling the stat sheet up since "Winning Time" arrived.

Dwight Howard added 20 points and fifteen boards going high-percentage Nerf-Rim Lobs on half of that 20 as Trevor Ariza played extremely well playing the Red Nation 3rd wheel in this one with a cool, calm, and collected 22 points and eight boards. Houston shot nearly 55% from the field and matched the Clips with nine makes from deep.

Griffin led the Clips with 30 points grabbing sixteen boards as CP3 added 22 points and ten boards. It was the other Clips who needed to put forth that effort in order for the Clips to stay within a few possessions late to maybe steal this one and they didn't. Both Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford who have been huge spark plugs giving max production off the bench combined for just 13 points in this one going 5 for 21.

Now we get a game 6 at Staples on Thursday Night at 10:30pm ET as the Rockets enter their 2nd straight elimination game...
