After 2014-15 Hart Trophy Finalist and Russian Royalty Alex Ovechkin dba "Ovi" lit the lamp in the first frame beating Swedish Royalty in the blue-paint Henrik Lundqvist it was silence in new MSG! The game would skate after that to 1-0 Caps lead after one.

In the 2nd it would be the Blue Shirts getting on  power play as Kevin Hayes would strike for the Gotham City Rangers and just like that it was 1-1not even midway through the 2nd. The game would then go on to a 1-1 tied the rest of the 2nd and through the 3rd as the Caps would get 6 SOG and the Rangers 9 SOG in the 3rd.

It went into the dreaded Stanley Cup Playoffs Game 7 Sudden Death next goal wins and it wouldn't change all the way up the the first break in the action at the midway points in then first extra frame. Then just over the break a few minutes it would the Rangers in their end getting control of the face-off  this would happen...

Right off a Dan Girardi slapper and right off Caps blue-paint tenant Braden Holtby's pads Derek Stepan was right there for the easy score and the Rangers will move onto the East Finals versus a blazin' and fast Tampa Bay Lightning "Feeling Themselves"... and slide over Nicki and Beyonce!

Holtby stopped 37 of 39 SOG and was magnificent. "King Henrik" was yes "King Henrik" of course as he stopped 35 of 36 SOG.
