The Chicago Blackhawks survive a flurry of attempts to get this game tied in the 3rd as the Ducks tried everything and that tying goal eluded them as the Indian Head wins 5-2 in dramatic fashion. Now we get a game 7 back in Anaheim on Saturday May 30th for all the marbles!

The Hawks 2nd frame clinic they put on was a thing of beauty as they "Lit the Lamp" three straight times as it was Brandon Saad, Patrick Kane, and Marian Hossa with D.K. dba Duncan Keith assisting on all three  goals.

The Ducks though down three but by no means out scores the last goal of the 2nd frame on a Patrick Maroon re-direct as the score was 3-1 Hawks. That score by Maroon had Hawks Nation very unsettled as no three goal lead in this series has been safe.

Anaheim with Uncle Mo are on their side to start the 3rd gets a Clayton Stoner score just under the two-minute mark in the 3rd making it 3-2 Hawks. After that goal the 3rd was a "Blur" as time went as almost as fast as both the Ducks and Hawks were skating.

Then right under the four minute mark it was a heckuva pass to Andrew Shaw and he backhands a shot glove side upper tank for a score and a Hawks 4-2 lead. Shaw then gets an empty-netter making it a 5-2 final and we are off to a game 7.

"Craw-Dad" was solid in net stopping 30 of 32 SOG. The Ducks Frederik Andersen halted 18 of 22 SOG as he has been a little shaky in net the last two games. The Indian Head in 2014015 is 31-0 when leading after two frames. Also the team that has scored first in this series has won every game...just sayin'!
