The Chicago Cubs after losing game one on Tuesday night gets game #2 as Cubbies starter Tsuyoshi Wada wasn't around for the decision. It was the North Siders Pen and Captain Save-A-Game Hector Rondon that carried Chicago to the winner's circle on this night.

It was a Starlin Castor fielder's choice that scored the Cubbies Kris Bryant in frame one that opened up the scoring as it as Chicago 1-0 over the San Deigo.  The Padres in the 4th got things going on a Justin Upton two-run bomb as the Friars went up 2-1 after four.

The North Siders came right back in the top half of the 5th as Dexter Fowler tripled home Tsuyoshi Wada with Kris Bryant getting a sac-fly scoring Fowler making it 3-2 Cubbies. The Cubs Pen then went 4 1/3 frames of two-hit hardball as Captain Save-A-Game Hector Rondon gets his9th save of 2015.

Padres starter Tyson Ross went seven allowing all three Cubs runs on four hits as he struck out eight walking three. The Cubbies move to 22-17 as they trail the blazin' Redbirds ion the Central by four full games. San Diego falls to 20-21 as they give chase to both the Gigantes ans Dodgers some familiar faces running the NL West.
