I will tell you this if the New York Rangers have the thought process that they will go up and down and "Speed Skating" with the Tampa Bay and their #1 offense in Eastern Conference Finals they will be sitting home after game 5.

The Blue Shirts came out swinging as they scored just a minute plus into game 3 on a power play goal by Derrick Brassard making 1-0 Rangers. Then just before the midway point Jesper Fast beats Bolts blue-paint tenant Ben Bishop making it 2-0 Blue Shirts as the Lightning Faithful sounded like the Tampa Bay Public Library at this point and in shock!

The Bolts not to be outdone with that powerful offense gets their first goal of the night through Steven Stamkos as it was 2-1 after one Rangers. Then midway through the 2nd with Tampa on the power play Ondrej Palat scores tying the game at 2-2. Tyler Johnson strikes just three minutes after that and all of a sudden the Bolts lead 3-2. Alex Killorn four minutes after T.J. "Lit the Lamp" scores making it 4-2 and the Blue Shirts looked to ditto game 32 back at World's Most Famous.

Twenty-nine seconds after that Lightning score it was Blue Shirts Dan Boyle making it 4-3 Lightning and that was the 2nd frame business. Both net minders faced solid shots as Henrik Lundqvist for New York stopped 20 of 24 SOG through two frames and Bishop foe Tampa halted 13 of 16 SOG through two.

#NYRPlayoffs gets one from the Captain Ryan McDonagh on the power play tying the game up at 4-4 just two minutes and change into the 3rd. Ondrej Palat strikes again late around the six minutes left to give Tampa what looked like the game. It was Dan Boyle again for the Blue Shirts right under the two minute mark tying the game at 5-5 as we headed to Extras!

Just three minutes and a half minutes in it was Tampa's Nikita Kucherov getting the game-winner  making it a 6-5 final as the Bolts move up in the series 2-1. The Lightning out shot the Blue Shirts 40-28 as New York score twice on their power play and the Bolts once.

I have a gut feeling if it goes seven the net minder will have to change gloves and sticks at least twice from here on out as they are getting a workout in and around the blue-paint...

Game 4 Friday night May 22nd...
