In Extras just like that a nonchalant puck cleared or should have been cleared in the zone turns into a game 5 winner and the Ducks quack quack quack to a 3-2 lead. Hawks net minder Corey Crawford looked a mess early and Ducks net minder Frederik Andersen looked a mess late and the Ducks prevailed 5-4.
It came down to players making plays and the Ducks made the last play. "Craw-Dad" stopped 23-28 and Andersen halted 24 of 28 as the Indian Head chipped and chipped away at that early 3-0 Ducks lead. Cam Fowler, Ryan Kesler, and Sami Vatanen had the Ducks flying high early 3-0.
The Hawks came back in the 2nd on a methodical approach behind a Teuvo Teravainen and Brent Seabrook goals. It was 3-2 and the back breaker came off a Patrick Maroon score late in the 3rd a rebound making it 4-2 Ducks. Then it happened...

Then just 45 seconds into then extra frame as Hawks Bryan Bickell tried clearing the puck in the neutral zone only to see the Ducks turn that into a 2-1 break away as Kesler shot of "Craw-Dad" went right to Matt Beleskey's stick for a tip-in...game time Ducks win that quick!
In a series and game like this "Carelessness" will cost you and not blaming "Bicks" but you have to be aware of what is going on at all times! Game 6 back at the Madhouse on "Hump Day" as the Indian Head tries to force a game 7 back on the pond!
