This is no surprise as the Chicago Bulls and Coach Tom Thibodeau have parted ways as the Bulls terminate the services of Thibs today effective immediately. The Bulls Brass led by John Paxson (Bulls Sr. VP of Ops) and Gar Forman (GM) unfortunately didn't fire themselves as well as it's a mess and I don't care how you slice it!

Thibs performed well as the Bulls Lead Man but as a coach you have to be willing to try other ideas and not be stuck in your ways especially with no Chips under your belt. Yes the Bulls Brass reportedly try to get Thibs to lower minutes of players and play a lot of the young players but Thibs did what Thibs does and that is run that first rotation into the ground like its the Iditarod.

As far as the mess upstairs c'mon Pax and Gar haven't got it right yet and from the outside they are two guys you might not want to work for as your organization is only good on the hardwood as it is at the top. You are not going to win anything when its as "Toxic" as it was around the Bulls Organization. Thibs is owed $9 million over the next two seasons and the Bulls have to be thinking he will get a new "Gig" and the buyout won't be over half of that.

Coach Thibs Tenure talking W's and L's:

5 Seasons
394-255 W-L

Playoffs
23-28 W-L

360 Degrees...

Thibs won 2 Central Division Titles in his first two seasons...

He also went to the East Finals in year one...

That 23-28 "Fight for Larry" W-L spelled gloom and doom...

Note: The funniest quote was after the Bulls lost vs the Cavs Thibs says, "I expect to be back as Bulls Coach next season...who says that with all that B.S. going on in and around the Bulls"...the NBA Guillotine!
