The Tamp Bay Lighting after losing game 1 and sticking around Gotham City hearing about that loss and everything but Godzilla and King King doing what they do bounced back in game 2. It was the Tyler Johnson Show as he goes "Hat Trick" pacing that "Lightning" fast Tampa Bay Offense as King Henrik was anything but in the blue-paint on this night.

Johnson scored his first two goals in frame one as the Blue Shirts Kris Krieder's power play goal was sandwiched in between making it 2-1 Tampa after one. Johnson then nets his 3rd almost midway through the 2nd for a 3-1 Tampa lead only to see that lead back to 3-2 as Derek Stepan goes power play goal and it was 3-2 after two with New York right there.

The first six plus minutes of the 3rd the Lightning pout it away behind goals from Alex Killorn and Steven Stamkos power play goal. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 20 of 26 SOG as Ben Bishop the Tampa net minder halted 35 of 37 SOG. Killorn for good measure added his 2nd score on the night another power play goal making it the final 6-2.

Tampa was a "lightning" 3 for 6 on the power play as the Blue Shirts were 2 for 5. The Rangers out shot the Lightning 37-26 as New York needs to get more physical with the Lightning because if it becomes the Winter Games and just skating and skill this series is over.

Series heads to Tampa for game 3 and 4 on "Hump Day" May 20th and T.G.I.F. May 22nd and back to World's Most Famous on Sunday May 24th for game 5...nothing like the Stanley Cup Playoffs...really!
