The Carmines take the "Rubber Game" as Red Sox starter Wade Miley moves to 4-4. Miley was on his A-Game as he goes eight strong scattering four hits and giving up a run. That run Miley gave up was of course off the Ash, Maple or Bamboo of one Mike Trout a double scoring Erick Aybar from first.

The Carmines did their damage at the dish behind Xander the "X-Man" Bogaerts and Mike Napoli. "Nap" took Halos starter Hector Santiago deep in the 2nd for a two-run blast scoring the X-Man making it 2-0 Sox. Boston would add one more in the 5th on a Dustin Pedroia sac-fly.

They would tack on three more runs in the 8th highlighted by a "Nap" two-run double as the Carmines win going away 6-1. The "X-Man" (5th in the line up) and Napoli (6th in the line up)  would combine to go 6 for 7 with 4 RBI and four runs scored.

The Carmines move to 21-23 good for 3rd in the AL East just 2.5 games back of the leading Rays. The Halos fall to .500 at 22-22 as they are six games back of the "Stros Show"!
