The Sacramento Kings have a nice mix of young Draft Picks along with a fee savvy NBA Vets and all that propelled them past the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday Afternoon. It was former KU Star Ben McLemore's smooth 22 points (7-11 FG 2-4 3pt FG 6-6 FT) and former Nets and Lakers Castoff Marshon Brooks 19 points as the kings pulled away in the 4th frame for a 100-86 "W".

The T'Wolves were right in the thick of it as Vegas Native Shabazz Muhammad led all scorers with 24 points on 7 of 13 shooting. Minnesota's Top 2014 Pick Zach "Trampoline" LaVine added 16 points with Gorgui Deng looking more and more formidable in the middle with 15 points, a Baker's Dozen off the Window, and three blocks. Both teams shot 50% from the Venetian as the Kings shot 60% from the field to the 'Wolves just above 40%.

Forever Purple advances to the final 8 where they will play the winner of the Bulls and Sixers.
