He went 14th in the 2014 NBA Draft and was the best pure scorer coming into the draft. Now that begs the question.."How many Teams in the Logo put Scoring the Spalding Orange at a premium"? Well the Suns have themselves another Players when the Shot Clock runneth' to Zeroes can get his own...and get it in many ways.
From famed Brewster Academy in New Hampshire (teammate of 2014 OKC Thunder 1st Rounder Mitch McGary and Heat (now Thunder) 2nd Rounder Semaj Criston at Brewster) T.J. Warren was simply what he was advertised to be..."Getting Buckets". Warren leads the Suns to a 97-88 "W" over the Broad Street Philly Summer Auditions as Warren put Philly Defenders in "Flash Dance" 2K14. Warren "G" goes for 28 points on 12 of 22 shooting and the nerve of him to haul in eleven Spalding Oranges to boot. Miles Plumlee and Arch Goodwin and Dionte Christmas each added 15 points apiece. Warren had 16 of his game-high 28 in the 2nd half when it was nip and tuck.
The Sixers losing for the 1st time in Summer League Play gets a team-high 21 points from "Rocky Top" UT Sharp-Shooter Jordan McRae. They also get 15 points from Memphis former 5-Star Schoolboy Adonis Thomas. The Suns move to 2-1 and someone slow that silky-smooth Warren down!
