The Cleveland Indians take the "Rubber Game" vs the Kansas City Royals as the AL Central Race heats up with everyone chasing the Motor City Kitties. The Tribe needed and gets a magnificent performance from Corey Kluber as he shutdown that Royals Line Up.

Kluber almost went Complete Job missing it by two hitters as he allowed one run on four hits while striking out ten. Then Run Support came in a three-run 2nd inning highlighted by Tribe First Baseman Carlos Santana's Solo Blast off Royals Starter Danny Duffy. The Tribe then added another two runs in the same inning as Yan Gomes goes Two-Run Blast to make it 3-0. Then Royals get one on the board in the 5th from a Mike Moustakas Solo HR to make it 3-1 as the Tribe added insurance in the bottom half of the 5th making it 40-1 the final score.

The Royals Duffy gave up all four runs and two via the "Long Ball" as he also gave up ten hits through six innings striking out six. The Tribe moves to 43-44 and 6.5 games behind the Tigers. The Royals fall back 4.5 games and to 45-42.
