The Houston Rockets move on barely as they outlasted a furious comeback by the Cleveland Cavaliers dba the "Believeland" Cavaliers 96-90. The Rockets led by as many as 13 in the 3rd frame only to see the Cavs come flying back into the fray. In the end the Clutch City Back court was "Fabuloso" in Murray State's Isaiah Canaan and U of A Tucson's Nick Johnson as they were better than Will Cherry and Andrew Wiggins.

Canaan led all scorers with 28 points shooting 10 for 16 from the field and 4-8 from Wet 'N' Wild Las Vegas' Lazy River. Johnson added 14 points with Rockets "Big" Donte Montiejunas going for 21 points and eleven boards. The Rockets shot 82% from the stripe putting them into the "W" Column.

The Cavs were led by both Andrew Wiggins and Will Cherry's 21 points apiece as Wiggins was 15 for 20 from the stripe. The Cavs move into the Losers Bracket and get their 1st "L' of Summer League play. The Rockets move to the Final 8 playing the Atlanta Hawks and Sparty's "House of Payne" Adriean Payne.
