Cardinals Starter Joe Kelly was lit up even before the Suds could get warm in Brewers Nation and Redbirds Nations Hands. The Brew Crew puts up a crooked three in the 1st and 2nd to go up 6-0 as Kelly was chased after three and didn't even break a sweat. The Brewers had to be filling good at their prospects of taking game 1 as they had Ace Yovani Gallardo on the Bump....then it happened!  

The Redbirds get it started behind their 1st M.V.P. Matt "Hot Plate" Adams as he takes Lamborghini Gallardo for a Spin through Miller Park for a two-run Dinger to make it 6-2 Brewers. Then in the 6th the Redbirds Kolten Wong (Solo HR) and Johnny Peralta  (Two-Run HR) chases Gallardo tying the game up at 6-6 as Redbird Nation was telling Brewers Fans, "it's Busch Stadium of the North"!

Then in the ninth with no one on and Redbirds Matt Holliday up against Brewers 5-Star Captain Save-A-Game Francisco Rodriguez deep for a Solo Bomb and just like that the Redbirds move within a game of the Brewers for the NL Central lead and that is no Wisconsin Brats & Cheese!

The Redbirds move to 51-43 while, the Brewers fall to 52-42 and currently on a six-game skid...
