They are 9-1 in their last ten ball games and a robust 32-15 coming out of the Home Dugout. Don't worry about what Team it is as the Junior Circuit and the AL West Heavies (A's and M's) know all too well who they are.

Behind Ace RHP Jered Weaver giving up two runs on four hits through seven innings and not pin point control (3 BB) the halos dispose of the struggling and looking towards the 2015 season Texas Rangers. The Rangers struck first in the 2nd off Weaver scoring two runs on a Rougned Odor Two-Bagger and a Shin-Soo Choo fielder's Choice. The Halos get one back in the 3rd on a "El Hombre" Albert Pujols Sac-Fly to make it 2-1 Rangers. Then it all came undone for Rangers Starter Miles Mikolas in the 6th.

The Halos hit Mikolas (5.2 IP 9 H 5 R 1 BB 3 SO) and the Rangers with a crooked four frame to go up 5-2 which would be the final score. The Halos go for four singles and a double in that inning breaking it open. That has been the story of the 2014- Rangers as the Pitching on all levels just hasn't been there for them.

The Halos looking for the sweep on Sunday moves to an impressive 56-37 the 2nd best W-L in the Show behind Division Leaders the Oakland Athletics (58-35). North Texas Pro Hardball falls to a dismal 38-56 and that is Mama's Basement in the AL West.
