We know this that Pistons have just fallen under the Knicks in the East and that isn't good. We also know the Pistons got rid of their Coach abruptly a month back. The Pistons falling to 25-40 after their loss tonight to the Dinosaurs are absolutely loaded on that Roster with nothing to show for it.
The Raptors on the other hand at 36-27 leading the Atlantic by three games over the Nets are rolling along as through Winning Time is near and the Dinosaurs will be in the 2nd round of play in the East. Tonight leading 52-45 at the break and just 74-69 after three they reach back and gpo to a level the Pistons will not see in the 2013-14 season and beat Detroit 101-87.
The California Connection did it for the Raptors in Compton, CA HS SG DeMar DeRozan (25 pts) and Ex-Louisville Recruit and L.A Westchester HS PF Amir Johnson (20 pts 9 rebs) as they dominated the Pistons in the crunch. Raptors Point God Kyle Lowry added 19 points and six helpers with Lithuanian Jonas Valanciunas grabbing thirteen Oranges with 8 points. It was a total team effort for the Raptors staying ahead in the Atlantic.
The Pistons get 24 points from PG Brandon Jennings as the front line of J-Smoove, Mr. Drummond, and Monroe combined for 42 points and six teen boards. The Motor City just has to get things figured out from a Coaching Staff Standpoint on up to the Philosophy and Direction they want to go in. That Product is there with no direction and that is a huge Problem. One of those Three on that Pistons Front Line will be gone this summer and it would most likely be Greg Monroe who is a nice piece.
