The Memphis Grizzlies controlled the "PACE" late and come out of the Madhouse on Madison with a "W". Bulls had chances late they just could manufacture anything on Offense and the Shoe was definitely on the other foot tonight in the Grit & Grind Beale Street Corner.

The Bulls led 39-35 at the half as this tilt was a display of two teams that get after it on the defensive end which in turn helps then offensively. The Grizz took control of the game late in the 3rd and it just came down to who could execute their offense better in the half court....Grizz win!

Memphis was led by 2012-13 NBA's reigning Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol who challenged Bulls Star Center Joakim Noah putting up 18 points and grabbing ten Oranges. Grizz PG Mike Conley Jr. added 12 points and seven assists as the only other Grizz Starter in double figures. Mike Miller's 14 off the bench (4-5 3pt FG) and Kosta Koufos' 12 points was huge off the Memphis Bench.

The Bulls were led by Taj Gibson's 18 points as D.J. Augustin added 14 points with Jo's 15 points, eight boards, and six helpers. The Bulls down 75-77 with well over five minutes to go in the game only mustered one more bucket the rest of the way. The Bulls 2 for 13 from the Arc was due largely to how Memphis plays "D" guarding the Arc as the Bulls didn't get many uncontested looks.

The Grizz now moves to 35-26 with the Bulls falling to 34-28. For Memphis here comes the Grizz as they are now tied in the Win Column with the Dallas Mavericks who have the 8th slot in the West. Bulls are juts a game and a half up on the Wizards in the 4th slot in the East.
