The Michigan Wolverines were not the Big Ten Pre-Season Favorite but they ran the table as In-State Rival Michigan State (who was the Favorite) could not play consistent ball. Now the Wolverines taking care of business near Green Street on the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana fold the Fighting Illini to win the Big Ten Regular Season Chip outright 84-53 in a dominating fashion.

Behind a 52-30 lead that saw the Maize and Blue have target Practice behind the Arc the Wolverines continued the onslaught in the 2nd half shooting a blistering 16 of 23 from the "Land of Plenty. UM Guard Nik Stauskas led the Wolverines and had a game-high 24 points shooting 7 for 9 from Deep. Caris Levert added 15 points with Bloodline SF Glenn Robinson III chipping in with 13 points as they out score the Illini in the 2nd half 32-23.

The Illini was out of of the game from the Tip-Off as they allowed UM to shoot a ridiculous 70% from 19'9". The Illini down just 14-11 early let that UM three point lead balloon to 52-30 and that was a 38-19 run doubling the Illini's Offensive Output in that span. Rayvonte Rice led the Illini with 16 points and nine boards while Freshman Kendrick Nunn (Duke's Jabari Parker's Sidekick in HS at Neal F. Simeon Career Academy in Chi-City) added 14 points.

Um goes through the 2013-14 Big Ten Schedule at 14-3 with one more game to play vs Indiana on March 8th. The Illini pretty much out of March Madness unless they win the Big Ten Tourney falls to 6-11 in Big Ten Play and 17-13 overall but helps is on the way.

360 Degrees...both Wisconsin and Sparty are tied for 2nd at 11-5 in the Big Ten
