The AL East leading O's Starter Miguel Gonzalez (8 IP 7 H 2 R 2 BB 6 SO HR) pitched a helluva ball game only to be denied a "W" and "L". Carmines Starter Jon Lester (8 IP 5 H 2 R 0 BB 7 SO) also was on his A-Game on the Bump as he went eight and also gets a No-Decision.

It came down to a walk-off single by the Bo Sox Pinch-Hitter Jonathan Herrera for a Sox win 3-2 as the Carmines try and stay close enough to make a 2nd half run in the AL East. The Carmines cored two in the 2nd highlighted by a Stephen Drew Solo HR to make it 2-0 Sox. The O's bounced right back in the 3rd scoring two runs on a Xander Bogearts throwing error ting the game up at 2-2. That tie held up for 5 plus innings until the Carmines struck in the bottom half of the 9th!

The Carmines move to 39-47 just seven games off the O's AL East leading pace. The O's at 46-40 are now tied with the Blue Birds for the East...Daniel Nava and Jackie Bradley Jr led the Sox with two hits each. The O's were led by two hits from Back Stop Caleb Joseph as he also scored a run.
