The National League has at least six teams that could be playing October Hardball. The tightest race is in the NL East as the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves will battle to the finish. The Fightin' Fish of Little Havana Hardball was right there around the beginning of June but they have tailed off some. The Chop Shop 404 and the 'Nats need their Starting Pitching to rise to the top as that will get you the division. The Fish, Amazins, and Phightin' Phils are within striking distance but they need to hit the Brick Oven Stove and the 'Nats and Braves need to be in the Sub Zero Fridge for at least two to three weeks.

The NL Central all of a sudden has become the best race and the most balanced division of any division in the Show. The "Brew Crew" just a month ago looked to be the clear favorites. They were last seen at the Miller Keg doing too much. Meanwhile the Redbirds of Baseball Town USA have hit their stride as they will have to do it in the 2nd half until September without All-Star Backstop Yadier Molina. The Red Legs have been doing it following the lead of "Johnny be Good" and "Johnny be Dangerous" on the bump. The Buccos Pitching has come alive as they have the reigning NL M.V.P. and MLB the Show 2K14 Cover Boy Andrew McCutchen doing what he does...straight margarine! The NL Central will be won in the last week of 162 write it down take a Twit Pic or Instagram!

The NL West is fast becoming annually the "Battle of Southern and Northern Cali". The L.A. Dodgers with the help of a giant "June Swoon" by San Fran Hardball is in 1st place by a game. The Giants are just a game back as both will rely on their Starting Pitching and as we go to press thew Dodgers are leading that category. Can the Friars, Rox, or D-Backs make a move in the 2nd half in the West? It's a Kershaw World and a Kershaw Division and Rawlings Express that in the upper 90s!
