The St. Louis Cardinals jumped all over Giants Starter Madison Bumgarner on Thursday during a Matinee at the AT&T Park in the Bay. The Redbirds get a Jhonny Peralta Bomb of Bumgarner in the 1st of the Two-Run Variety and never looked back. The Giants get one back in the 3rd to make it 2-1 Redbirds but it was that three-run 4th inning highlighted by Jon Jay's Two-Bagger and a Carlos Martinez two-run scoring single. That inning put the Redbirds up to stay 5-1 as they go onto win 7-2.

Redbirds Starter Carlos Martinez was solid giving up a run in five innings on five hits as he struck out six. Bumgarner Fate was decided maybe after that Peralta Two-Run HR he gave up in the 1st as he he allows five runs on six hits through just five innings. He command or lack thereof was all over the place as he walked three and struck out six.

Peralta led the Redbirds going 2 for 5 with two RBIs and a run scored with Yadier Molina 3 for 5. The Giants Bumgarner helped his own cause in the 3rd with a RBI-Single as that Giants Line-Up goes silent again. Redbirds move to 46-40 and San Fran Hardball falls to 47-38...
