Team Argentina advances to the 2014 World Cup Semifinal as they controlled their game versus Belgium from nearly start to finish. The Argentines get the game-winner from Striker Gonzalo Higuain in the 8th minute and then went onto to keep Belgium from being any kind of threat.

Lionel Messi had a breakaway late but Belgium Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois stopped that shot as the 22-year old was outstanding all game long. Belgium's #1 player Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne was a non-factor getting three shots and just 2 of the 3 on net but not solid shots. He was a thorn in Team USA's Side in the Round of 16 but could never get it going vs the Argentines.
