The Oklahoma City Thunder might look back on this one and say we lost the West when we lost to the Lakers back in early March 2014. After leading 56-51 at the break Kobe, SHAQ, Fox, Big Shot ROB, and D-Fish came out the Locker room disguised as the 2013-14 Lakers and put a 36-19 3rd frame beat down OKC. Yes Steven Spielberg and George Lucas was seen coming out the Lakers Locker Room after halftime with a Make-Up Crew.

The Lakers then up 87-75 went up by as many as 18 points early in the 4th as OKC made a run to get back in the game. With the score 95-77 Lakers just under the ten minute mark OKC went on a 23-10 run to cut the lead to 105-100 Lakers. The Lakers held off the Thunder as both KD an Russ could not connect from Three Point Range as the Lakers go onto win 114-110.

Lakers Sniper Jodie Meeks went off on a career-high 42 points as he did most of his damage in the first three frames. Meeks shot 11 of 18 from the field (6-11 3pt FG) and 14 for 14 from the Stripe to cap his night off. Pau Gasol added 20 points and eleven rebounds with Jordan Farmar and Ryan Kelly adding 12 points apiece.

OKC just has not been the same team as their Rotations aren't nearly the same with Westbrook back in the Line Up and OKC Lead Man Scotty Brooks is going to have to fix it. KD went Triple-Double with 27 points, ten boards, and a dozen helpers. Serge Ibaka added 21 points and fifteen boards with Uncle Russ chipping in with 20 points, seven boards, and eight assists. OKC just fell apart in the 3rd and that cost them dearly as they spent the entire 4th frame playing catch up. The Thunder out rebounded the Lakers by + 23 and still lost.

The Lakers move to 22-42 and lose Percentage Points on that 2014 NBA Draft Lottery Ball as this is not a great win. OKC falls to 46-17 as thy have to be thinking about winning the division and not just the #1 seed in the West.
